My article has been published in this month's edition of Writing Magazine (www.writers-online.co.uk) - entitled 'Kick-start Your Writing Year' (page 12/13).
So, as for New Years Resolutions, all I can really say is that I will continue this status as a 'published writer' throughout 2013 and beyond!!

Hi, I came across your article in "Magazine writing". I don't normally read the magazine...but I was I Starbucks @ my local Sainsbury's local food store..and selected several magazine to read.
I came.across your article..and.found it to fantastic reminder of what "one can do...to accomplish their goals" for 2013.
The article was:
CONCISE -no padding..just straight to the key components
CLEAR -Written in clear, easy to understand, follow language
VITAL INFORMATION - Contains all the information ones need in order to get their writing career (or any other objectives) off to a flying start.
The single sentence which sums up what 2013 can hold for (from your excellent article) was
"If you want to do something ....you will find a way. If you don't want to do something you will find an excuse"...By Jim Robbie
This sums up the entire article into a single phrase...I can carry around in my head.
I will leave with another Jim Robbie quote..."if you have enough reasons....you can do the most incredible things". In other words lists, visualize,associate to the reasons whys thing is important to you..and those reasons will carry you through..no matter what challenges you might face.
